Jake formed JB Andrew Ltd in 2014 working as a sole trader following a career in the British Armed forces.

After 2 successful years as a sole trader and building up a reputation in Cornwall as a reliable, trustworthy and competent groundworks and building contractor, Jake then decided to make the company limited, forming JB Andrew Ltd. The goal of the company is to ensure that our customers have their every need met – and exceeded – and to be approachable at all times.

Brian joined JB Andrew Ltd as a employee in 2014 when trading as a sole trader.

Previous to this Brian was in the Haulage / Engineering business between 1980 – 1984, before moving into the grand industry of Cornish tin mining between 1984 – 1992. After the decrease in the Tin Mining industry Brian moved into the offshore work with sea core were he spend 3 years working away. In 1996 Brian joined the construction industry were he worked for different company’s and on a self employed basis before joining JB Andrew Ltd and completing he SMSTS qualification to go into site management.

Hobbies / Interests
Hobbies / Interests – Rugby ( Played for Camborne, Redruth, Cornish Pirates & 40 Caps for Cornwall), Rugby Referee. Cricket.

Matt joined JB Andrew Ltd in 2016, previous to this Matt worked in the industry since leaving school.

He started by working at a transfer station / aggregate yard driving plant, before venturing out himself to become a self employed builder. Working all over Cornwall and at times further including places such as Weymouth, Bournemouth & East Berlin. At the age of 25 he settled back in Cornwall and started working for Marconi builders. In his time at Marconi, Matt achieved a adult apprenticeship in Masonry level 2. He completed a number of developments including a housing estate of 32 in which he found himself at times ganging and in control of a number of workers. In 2016 Matt approached us and he was after a new chapter in his career in site management, since Matt has gone onto complete his SMSTS ticket as well as all his CPCS tickets.
